Supporting Future Innovators Few factors are more important to the future success of communities than a highly-skilled and well-educated workforce. To succeed in the rapidly changing economy, our students will need to be skilled in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Chevron and the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) are partnering to provide students and teachers with access to the tools and resources they need to succeed. |

Come for the Juneteenth Celebration, Stay for the BBQ
Charles H. Evans opened CJ’s BBQ and Fish more than 17 years ago in Richmond, where he was born and raised. CJ’s will be serving lunch at the Juneteenth Family Day Parade and Festival at Nichol Park on June 20. Charles believes Juneteenth is an important day in Richmond because it celebrates black history in America and provides an opportunity for the community to come together and have a good time. |
